In short
Sanctum Rosarium collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no server of its own, no analytics and no ads, and it does not track you across apps or websites.
What stays on your device
Your prayer journal, your settings and a Rosary you left halfway are stored only on your phone. Nobody else, us included, can see them. They are deleted if you remove the app.
Your Apple Watch receives your settings, the audio and what you prayed straight from your iPhone over the connection between them, without going through the internet.
Internet connections
The prayers, the Gospel passages, the images and the audio come inside the app and work offline.
To receive improvements without going through the store, the app checks on launch whether an update is available on the servers of Expo (expo.dev), the service it is published with. That check sends only technical data, such as the app and system version, and nothing about what you pray.
If you share analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. You control that in Settings.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. It only remembers in your browser whether you prefer the light or dark theme. The provider that hosts it may keep technical access logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time and for security.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, minors included, so it can be used as a family without sharing any information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish it here with its new date. We will never start collecting data about what you pray.
