The Rosary is prayed with simple prayers while contemplating the life of Jesus with Mary. Here is every step, in the order the app prays it.
1
What is the Rosary?
The Rosary is a Marian prayer centered on Christ (RVM 1). While simple prayers are repeated, you contemplate a mystery from the life of Jesus and Mary.
To recite the Rosary is nothing other than to contemplate with Mary the face of Christ.RVM 3

How does the Rosary begin?
The most widespread way begins at the crucifix with the Sign of the Cross and the Creed; then an Our Father on the first large bead, three Hail Marys on the three small ones, and a Glory Be. There are other legitimate ways to begin (RVM 37).
The first thing to note is the way the beads converge upon the Crucifix, which both opens and closes the unfolding sequence of prayer.RVM 36

How do you pray each decade?
A mystery is announced and you keep a moment of silence. Then an Our Father on the large bead, ten Hail Marys, one per bead, and a Glory Be. Five times.
After the announcement of the mystery and the proclamation of the word, it is fitting to pause and focus one's attention for a suitable period of time on the mystery concerned, before moving into vocal prayer.RVM 31

Which mysteries do you pray?
There are twenty mysteries in four sets: joyful, luminous, sorrowful and glorious. RVM 38 suggests a set for each day of the week, leaving you free to choose another. The app suggests today's.

At what pace is it prayed?
What matters is not finishing quickly. Go slowly, picture the scene and let the words keep you company. If you lose your place, the beads on screen show where you are.
By its nature the recitation of the Rosary calls for a quiet rhythm and a lingering pace.Paul VI, Marialis Cultus 47, quoted in RVM 12
